I am interested in environmental risk management in rural areas. I focused on the contributions of geographic information systems (GIS) for pollution risk analysis. I also focused on the articulation between GIS and local surveys on agricultural practices.
For my Master degree in Geography, I specialize in space Remote Sensing techniques. My research project is an application of remote sensing for the estimation of dissolved organic carbon in the boreal lakes of Quebec.
This research is based on data collected from lakes in Quebec by the members of the CarBBAS Chair and aims to calibrate a satellite-based predictive model of lakes' carbon.
