Biography
Current Project
Ongoing studies comprise:
(1) Characterization and quantification of aquatic inputs of AlloOC from different terrestrial sources.
(2) Assessment of the degree to which bacterial metabolism of AlloOC contributes to aquatic CO2 emissions.
(3) Analyses of the incorporation of AlloOC into the biomass of aquatic organisms at different trophic levels. Key results show that catchment characteristics and hydrological conditions are critical for the input, turnover and transformation of AlloOC in aquatic systems.
